| We are
very sad that the Choir Director in Christ Church, Emmet Doherty has
tendered his resignation. Emmet is doing his PGCE in Coleraine and is
unable to give the time to the choir that he would like. The choir has
benefitted greatly from his musicianship, his accomplished ensemble
work and his expertise as a choral singer of merit. We are deeply
indebted to him for his contribution to the music in Christ Church. We
will miss his slight but authoritative figure on a Sunday
morning! Our prayers and good wishes go with him. We hope whenever he
is able he will sing with us again. We are extremely fortunate that Jim Kelley has agreed to take over the role of Choir Director. Jim brings with him a wealth of experience and we wish him well in this new role. |
